Description

This is a Mini Dashcam, it’s only about 7cm tall and 2.5cm wide. Similar to the size of a lighter, making it less obtrusive and not easily seen.

Not included – a 128GB micro SD card will give you about 15 hours of video. The video loops automatically, overwriting the old data if the card is full.

It has a wide-angle lens and good high-definition picture quality. USB charging interface.

Ulive Installation tips:

– use either the provided power cable (powered with car lighter socket) or alternatively use a USB cable to connect to any available USB port in the car, if you do not have a lighter socket.

Note: the Dashcam will start recording as soon as it goes on. You don’t need the App to run the device. The App will allow you to set your recording quality and also to set the duration of each recorded clip. The default clip duration is 5min each and HD quality, so if you don’t have a phone that can download the app then this will be your automatic settings.

The dashcam never stops recording, as long as a micro SD card is present. When the micro SD card is full, then it will loop-record over the older video clips.

To test if the camera is recording, you need switch on the device (with an SD card inserted) for at least 5 minutes before switching off. You should then find the recorded video clip on the micro SD card.

– When installing the cable, we find that its best to either tuck the cable into the car linings or use a hot glue gun to keep the cable in place.

Note: The App – Very important, the device does not connect to bluetooth. This is a wifi connected device. As soon as the dashcam goes on, it will automatically create a wifi type of hotspot that you can connect to with your phone. So first power on the dashcam, then go to wifi setting on your phone, switch your phones wifi off and back on, you should then have a new wifi connection option on your phones called HF……. This is the dashcam. Connect to the dashcam wifi. After you have installed the CARREC app on your phone, you can just add the dashcam device. In the little user manual you will find the QR code for a direct link to the Carrec app. Otherwise just search for Carrec in the App store. Enjoy 🙂
